The Ministry of Education has announced the launch of a cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) platform aimed at transforming the educational experience for students and educators across the country. The new initiative, unveiled during the “Education 2030 Summit” in Dubai, marks a major step towards integrating technology into the UAE’s learning ecosystem.
The platform, named EduTech Vision, leverages AI to offer personalized learning experiences, enabling students to learn at their own pace while receiving real-time feedback on their progress. The system adapts to each student’s learning style, providing tailored content, quizzes, and interactive activities designed to improve retention and comprehension. Teachers will also benefit from advanced data analytics to monitor student performance and identify areas where additional support is needed.
Speaking at the summit, Minister of Education H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi emphasized the UAE’s commitment to fostering an education system that prepares students for the future job market, where AI, data science, and technology-driven skills are in high demand. “Our goal is to create a world-class education system that empowers our students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. AI-powered learning will provide them with the tools they need to succeed in future careers,” he said.
The platform is set to roll out in phases, starting with pilot programs in select schools across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah in early 2025. Plans include expanding EduTech Vision nationwide by the end of the next academic year.
In addition to personalized learning, EduTech Vision will feature AI tutors available 24/7, allowing students to access help outside school hours. Parents can also track their children’s progress through a companion app, ensuring they stay informed and involved in their education.
The UAE’s push towards AI in education aligns with the government’s broader strategy to integrate advanced technologies across all sectors, as outlined in the UAE Centennial 2071 vision. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to position the nation as a global leader in digital transformation and innovation.
Education experts across the region have lauded the move, predicting it will enhance both the quality and accessibility of education. Dr. Samira Al Ghamdi, an education technology specialist, commented: “The UAE is setting a benchmark for the region. AI has the potential to address many of the challenges facing education today, from large class sizes to varying levels of student engagement. This initiative is a game-changer.”
The summit also featured discussions on the role of AI in education, with panelists from major tech companies like Microsoft and Google sharing insights on the future of learning technologies. The UAE’s education reform efforts have garnered international attention, with global organizations like UNESCO expressing interest in collaborating on future projects.
As the country continues to invest in technology-driven education, students across the UAE are poised to experience a more dynamic, engaging, and future-ready learning environment.
